Not what I expected

This was my final practice before the contest. Pipe was a smallish 3-4+' Haw'n, but still rideable. And it was damned crowded!

I had a terrible session. Couldn't jockey with the crowd, didn't catch *any* good waves, did not pull in when I should have, could not do any maneuvers.

My hope was to get a confidence boost, but it ended up being a confidence bust.
