Swell: nnw swell with some westerly components
Surf: Pipe-- 3-6' Haw'n scale, Laniakea--3-5', both with decent conditions

Words: Did poorly at Pipe on my bodyboard, not really catching any great waves. Just don't have the commitment necessary to charge the place (not yet, early in the season anyway). Nearly got axed when I missed the first wave of a set and was right in the impact zone for the next two. Water color was somewhat chocolaty and not too appealing with the runoff, but the waves were worth it. Hit Laniakea afterwards and hooked up with Jack, Buddy and Rich. Surf was pretty good size, but the swell was a bit shifty. First not connecting through, then connecting. Buddy was the man, as usual. All in all, a pretty fun sesh.
