Kinda weird, but fun

Words: The final day of the Rip Curl Pro was on at Sunset. They were calling it 6-10' and on the rise over there with excellent conditions. Headed over to Lani's for a short one, hoping that it would be manageable for me. Surf was smaller there, so I was out!

The water was a bit funky, with some cross-chop from a couple of swells. Made for shifty peaks that were somewhat hard to position for. There was a slight brackish taste and color to the water also, since we'd had quite a bit of rain island-wide.

It was a little frustrating for me, always not quite being in ideal position. Still, I got a few fun ones. Decided to cut the session short--had to do some serious Christmas shopping in town.
