There was a little bit of size, but not nearly as advertised

Swell: Small SSW swell
Surf: 2-3' Haw'n

Words: The first Town swell was met with much enthusiasm and anticipation. However, as is many times the case, it was overhyped once again. Hopes of eight feet Haw'n fell just a bit short as the surf was more like an inconsistent shoulder-high with a rare overhead set. Wind was light, but started turning easterly.

The new Makani shortboard had a lot of drive, but I was a lousy driver on this day.
