Words: For the Fourth of July, a bunch of us (all of whose daughters dance for Drill Team Hawaii) decided to stay overnight in Waikiki. Of course, the girls weren't looking forward to the hotel or the dinner--they all wanted to surf!

We went early to beat the heat and the crowd. Got a few soft-tops again and proceeded to do some dry-land press-ups. No pressure at all--it was all about having fun.

The girls were having a blast. Some were a bit tentative at first, but they eventually all lost their inhibition and worries. Most of them ended up standing, balancing tentatively.

Of course, they coincidentally all dance to the song Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Truly, the best surfer is the one having the most fun.
